Black drumstick. Wooden, painted with shiny black paint. Bottom of handle is rubbed away, showing wood below. A few dents and nicks on the wood. At the tip there is a connected piece of paper reading "DeWitt Warner's drumsticks. Uncle DeWitt (Witt) was "The Little Drummer Boy" in the Civil War, spending 6 months in Andersonville Prison." and "1990— Kansas Museum has one of DeWitt's drumsticks. This is the the one, given to DeWitt's brother (my grandpa "Put" Warner before 1911)" Company A. 108th Illinois Volunteer Infantry
