Serving spoon, Per Parker Jackson, great grandson of Byron Dunlap, these spoons were won by Byron Dunlap in 1860. He showed a team of horses in the 1860 Peoria County Agricultural Society fair.
These spoons were made by J. H. Morse in Westfield, Mass. James H. Morse was a silversmith from about 1849 until the 1860’s.

It is not known why a Massachusetts silversmith made these rather than a silversmith in Peoria.
