Handmade round cardboard box and lid, stitched with thread to form cylinder roundness, covered with various papers, top of lid has initials ER, square seal in center embossed with “Medal Obtained at the Exposition of 1854”, front of bottom leaf decoration marked “J. Trees & Compy”, box contents wood 2 5/8″ with 1″ violet colored silk ribbon wound around, paper tag on wood reads “very old ribbon (50 or 75yrs)”, applied papers on box are golds and blacks and silver, interior rim has paper with black and green and blue and pink design on white background.
