“Food bank” by Jennifer Calvert of the Journal Star discusses the same Scrivner donation as above. The food came from an exposition at the Peoria Civic Center that allows grocery stores to test and buy new products. The leftovers from the exposition are then made ready for Food Bank pickup. A thank you note in the corner notes the four major donors to the Peoria Food Bank: Scrivner of Illinois, Inc., in East Peoria, The Pampered Chef, G & D Transportation, Inc. of Creve Coeur, and the Bonner Foundation.
