Memorial to late Dr. Thomas M. McIllvaine. Died in 1927. A drinking fountain in the lobby of the Peoria Public Library. Dr. McIllvaine served as a Library director from 1890 to 1915. He was the Chairman of the Committee that planned and supervised the building of the Library building at 111 N. Monroe St. Prior to late 1965. Served on Board of Education, Health Officer, Member of Peoria Art League, one of founders of Proctor Hospital, Member of Local Medical society.
