A 481 page manuscript on Transportation. It is divided into chapters and is a very complete work. The last chapter includes a directory of steamboats from the earliest time. This subject was covered in the WPA work by James Brumsey and his sister, Nancy Brumsey Fenwick. Mr. Brumsey did not have the work completed when the WPA was given up and continued for some time after on his own without remuneration.
