Scrap - 2010.43.28

Three pieces of scrap paper found between pages dating from January 18 to January 31, 1925.

i) Figures and calculation on both sides of a torn piece of notebook paper (lined). Handwritten in pencil.

ii) Yellow piece of paper, torn on bottom edge, with dates, what done, and amounts spent on it. Journal entries for account book dating August 19 to October 3 of unknown year. On reverse, bottom portion of a letter from the manager of Peoria Producers Commission Association. The portion of the letter reads that a check for stock handled by the association that day is enclosed as well as a market report.

iii)Figures and calculations for July 20-October 23, 1923 are listed on the back like account book entries. Written in pencil. On the reverse is a typed letter (bottom portion only; missing upper portion) from Farm Mechanics, Rothe-MP. Portion states that they are sending a free copy of their new booklet, “Handy Andy on the Farm”, a note on their planned improvements (enlarge departments of motor trouble advice, tractor operation, carpentry, farm buildings, machinery, and radio.), offer for a three-year renewal subscription ($2.00) of Farm Mechanics, and asking the patron to fill in a brief questionnaire.
