William graduated from Harvard Law School 1880. He was a member of the House of Representatives of Massachusetts 1893, a member of the Investment Committee and Vice-President of the Brookline Savings Bank, and member of the Brookline and Wellesley School Committees. He lived in Brookline and moved to Wellesley, Massachusetts in 1913.
