The book begins with Henrikus Wiegand II who was born in 1834, in Zwergen, Germany, and the book traces his family and posterity until 2005. Henrikus’ ancestors are mapped in a family tree in the beginning of the book, and his ancestors go back to 1672. The book is divided into chapters about each of Henrikus’ children and their personal family trees complete with birth, marriage, and death dates. Henrikus fathered 22 children between his first and second wives before he died in 1894.
