A Book, “The LeTourneau Employees Chorus,” R.G. LeTourneau, Inc. Peoria, IL. The Book includes six records, My God and I, Billy Sunday Favorites, Softly and Tenderly, Selections from Carousel, This is My Country, and Onward Christian Soldiers. The LeTourneau Chorus “is an organiztion unique in musical circles from the standpoint of its membership and scope of appearances. Organized in 1942, a cooperating group in LeTourneau Employees’ Activities Association, it is a volunteer organization, open to all employees interested in singing.” The group sings all over central Illinois and even some neighboring states. The book is bright yellow with a black spine cover and black text, on the inside of the cover is a black and white photo of the chorus in their robes.
