Fireplace facade made of white marble with a black painted iron spark screen, decorated with a serpentined mantle shelf and a shield-shape centered motif.

The fireplace facade was originally in the home of John Reynolds at 305 N.E. Jefferson until the house was razed in 1954 to make way for Interstate 74. Miss Morron, grand-daughter of the Reynolds, gave the fireplace facade to Fredrick Blossoms.

The facade was installed here by Peoria Stone & Marble Works. Invoice dated 30 June 1964. A check for $220 was written on Oct. 14, 1964 to Peoria Stone &Marble Works.
