This a small box from the Schipper and Block store in Peoria, IL. It was probably used to hold handkerchiefs or objects of that size. The box was made by Buedingen Box & Litho, Co., N.Y.& Rochester- Design, “678 Poppy Girl”. The box has some wear and tear on the edges and some discoloring on the top, but you can still see the girl really good. It was probably purchase in the early 1900s.
