A box designed for transporting 24 12oz. bottles of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer. The box is 41 cm. wide, 28 cm. deep, and 25 cm. tall. It is covered by two lids. when the lids close their lips fit into a slot in the side of the box. the front of the box says “Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer 24 Twelve oz. Bottles.” The back is identical. the top lid says “Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Pabst Brewing Company, Milwaukee, WIS., Peoria Heights ILL., Lo Angeles, CALIF., Newark, N.J.” The bottom lid says “24 12 Ounce Returnable Bottles This is a Deposit Carton Return With Empty Bottles.” The sides are both identical and say “24-12 Ounce Returnable Bottles Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.” The bottom says “This Box Meets the Construction Requirements of the N.M.F.C. Weyerhaeuser Oelair – N. J. RF-100A 650614 362.” The box is made out of heavy cardboard and held together by power staples. There are rings on the floor of the inside of the box showing where the bottles sat. The bottom of the box is quite beat up and the corners are scuffed. the inside of the lid has rings showing where the caps on the bottles were. the lip on the inside of the lid is warped. There are also several dents on the box. The ink is scratched in places. A few of the staples are rusted.
