One box for a 2 ounce bottle of Sheaffer’s Skrip washable purple writing fluid. The box is formed out of thin cardboard. The majority of the box is yellow with indigo print. The lower portion of the box is indigo with tan print. The print on the lower portion of the box was probably once yellow but has faded over time. The top flap of the box is missing but the edge tab has survived. The two side flaps of the box are still attached to the top of the box. The flaps are yellow with indigo print. part of the background of the flaps is a tan oval graphic. The upper portion of the front of the box reads, “Washable Purple Skrip Writing Fluid Washes from Washable Fabrics.” The lower portion of the front of the box reads, “Sheaffer’s 82 Successor to Ink.” The other three sides of the box are identical to the front.The bottom of the box reads, “Sheaffer’s Skrip Writing Fluid Permanent colors for permanent records -Blue Black, Royal Blue, Jet Black and Red Use Washable Skrip for school and home – Blue, Emerald Green, Purple, Brown, Black, Peacock Blue, Melon Red and Persian Rose. Soap will wash these colors from washable fabrics. No. 82 Contents 2 oz. – 59 C. C. Wa. A. Sheaffer Pen Co. Fort Madison, Iowa, U. S. A. Made in U. S. A.” The right flap on the top of the box reads, “It’s the cleanest pen in the world! Point never needs wiping! See it today at your Sheaffer dealer!” The left flap on the top of the box reads, “Throw away your ink wiper – use Sheaffer’s Snorkel pen.” The remaining flap from the top of the box reads, “Sheaffer’s Snorkel Pen.”
