Round storage box, faux tiger eye maple finish, bale handle. Storage containers kept food dry and vermin free. They consisted of round, wooden boxes made of strips of wood. First softened in hot water, then wrapped around a mold, lapped, and finally fastened. the bottoms were inserted. The lids were made in the same manner. Sometimes hoops were attached.
