Altar chair has low seat with perpendicular back. The pierced back panel is supported by turned uprights. The back panel has Gothic design openwork. Back triangularly arched and the uprights are surmounted by finials. The seat is wooden, rectangular, and flaring. It is slightly overhanging with a molded edge. It is hinged at the rear to give access to a shallow storage well beneath. The front legs have ring and turn molding and the back legs are canted.
