This chair is composed of a rectangular back which has a ring and turn ornamented top rail. Plain, flaring uprights have flattened fronts. There is a flat horizontal splat about halfway between the top rail and the seat with simply turned, short spindles beneath it. The chair’s seat is wooden. It is saddled, rectangular, and flaring. The seat is also rolled. The legs are turned and splayed. The legs are braced by a box stretcher. Painted black
