This clamp is composed of two hardwood blacks which are joined by two threaded dowels (at right angles). The work to be clamped together is placed in the jaw opening the two screws are adjusted to bring the blocks nearly parallel, and the final clamping is done by tightening the outer screw, thus forcing the jaws together.
