This oak cased shelf/mantle clock has a pressed wood design. The case-door is glass and is trimmed in gold, the face has Roman Numerals. 1963.19.1a is the clock itself and the others are the broken off base and other pieces. the clock has a door latch that doesn’t completely work, on reverse TC, a stabilizing triangular piece of wood is slanted from its original position at the bottom left of the piece. the top piece at TC i loose. Inside there are keys presumably for locking the door, but the winding keys are missing. The nails at the bottom which once held the base pieces are all bent. 1962.19.1b is the longest of the fragments and is the front part of the base. It has a long design along its length, there are two feet which are the widest part of the piece and a small round nub at C of the piece which is off the ground. 1963.19.1c is the logical right side piece of the base. It has the same design as the long piece. 1963.19.1d i the logical left piece of the base. It is similar to the logical right piece. 1963.19.1e does not fit into the base, its purpose is unclear. it has a flat top, with a bottom less wide than it. The distance creates slanted sides on revers L and R.
