Coaster - 2012.52.19

One set of Contemporary Coasters in the original box. The coasters were produced by the Ritepoint pen company some time in the 1970’s. The top of the box has a rainbow pattern for a background. The center of the top has a hole through which the advertising on the coasters can be viewed. Around this hole the text, “Contemporary Coasters,” is printed in black ink. The bottom of the box has two flower borders around the Ritepoint logo and the text “Ritepoint.” in the lower right corner of the bottom of the box is the text, “Made in the U. S. A.” Two of the sides of the box are removed to provide access to the coasters. The other two sides are striped in the same manner as the background of the top of the box. The box contains a coaster holder and six black coasters. The holder and coasters are round. The holder has four supports to contain the coasters. The coasters are black and the center has a letter “K” printed on them in gold paint. around the K is the following text also in gold ink, “Wm. K. Kirchgessner & Son General Contractors.” all of the coasters are presumably identical.
