Original pencil drawing, framed, of the old Peoria County Courthouse by Elmer King
Back of work reads:
About the Artist
At an early age he studied under Eric Arons, one of the best pictorial artists in this area. Then years later he took courses with the Federal School of Arts. In 1942 after being severely burned with gasoline he was told by two doctors that he would never be ablet ot use his right hand again. By God’s grace and after many months of therapy he regained the use of his hand again.
On each painting P.T. L. (Praise The Lord) appears in thanksgiving for the enabling to use this God-given gift.
