This fluting iron has a base with metal ridges and a top which is curved with metal ridges attached to a handle. Consists of two corrugated parts, a stationary base piece, and a movable hand piece. Base section was heated on stove then removed to an ironing board or table. Material to be ruffled was placed on the ridged base section and then pressed with the rolling or rocking hand piece.
