Part of a set of wooden curtain stretchers from the 1930’s and 1940’s. It is one of six pieces. One end reads: “Mary Lee No 5 Curtain Stretcher.” “Left Top” is also printed on the piece along with a pointing arrow. At the opposite end, “Start” is written on the wood in pencil. Numbers are printed on the wood and are marked off in one inch increments. Nails stick out along the length of the piece.
