A photograph of Mary Altman, b.1860-d.1927. In the photo, Mary is wearing a dark two piece dress, with poufy shoulders and a white ruffle collar. Her hair is dark and pulled up in a bun on the top of her head. She appears to be wearing an earring (that can only be seen in her left ear). Mary is standing with her left arm resting on a heavy ornate chair. Most of the background is too difficult to see however, there is a border around the photo that has flower like pattern. On the back of the photo, is a large Erler, Sun Beam Gallery logo with the address, 1216 South Adams St., Peoria, ILL. Several things have been written on the back in different ink. Starting at the top is “Mary Altman 1860-1927, My Mother, Alvina Mohr’s Grandma, My Mothers Mother -, Grandma (illegible).”
