35mm color slide of the Hiram Walker Distillery warehouse in Delavan. This shot is taken from outside the storage facility featured in 2011.59.139-141. The shot focuses on the conveyor belt that is being used to pack pallets of barrels into a semi that is in the right of the shot. There are two men overseeing the loading of the barrels onto the semi trailer. One is at the end of the conveyor belt, operating it, and the other is off to the right making sure the barrels clear the ceiling of the trailer. In the background are two large red brick buildings that serve as storage areas for the Delavan plant. The top has the red “MASTER” stamp along it. The bottom right corner has the number 33 stamped in red ink. The “Made in U.S.A.” tag in red is visible along the bottom of the frame, and above it is imprinted the date, MAY 61. The back indicates in red and yellow ink that this is a Kodachrome Transparency processed by Kodak.
